Beautiful Bride: Chelsea Clinton

I have been eagerly awaiting Chelsea Clinton wedding photos since I heard the former First Daughter was marrying Marc Mezvinsky awhile ago and I haven't been disappointed. Of course I don't know Chelsea Clinton, but I like her. She seems so normal and down-to-earth and she and her new husband seem genuinely in love. I really hope they have a wonderful life together.

I love this picture and her Vera Wang!

The wedding was held on July 31st at Astor Court in Rhinebeck.
The groom's suit and Bill's tie were reportedly designed
by Christopher Bailey of Burberry.

Hillary (in Oscar de la Renta) and Bill arriving at the pre-wedding party.
I would love to see what the reception decor was like!

Sweet Nature Designs Scarf: A Review

Sweet Nature Designs Summer Cotton Scarf - Lavender with Brown Branches

The first time I spotted Beth Tobey's Etsy shop Sweet Nature Designs I was smitten. There are great printed products from kitchen towels to bags as well as paintings and jewellery. I was beyond excited when Beth offered to send me one of her cotton summer scarves to review. Winter or summer, I think scarves really add something to an outfit. The package from Sweet Nature Designs came beautifully wrapped and inside was a very pretty, lightweight lavender scarf printed with fetching branches.

Because the cotton of the scarf is so lightweight I've been wearing it all summer. The scarf is the perfect length and weight to wrap in all different fashions and, although thin, it helps when the AC in my office reaches temperatures that only keep penguins comfortable. I've received tons of compliments on my Sweet Nature Designs scarf and was happy to find that it washes well with no damage to the printed branches.

Green Cotton Summer Scarf with Silver Flowers

The scarves are 100% cotton (93" x 16" or 236 cm x 41 cm) with raw edges for the perfect casual look. Sweet Nature offers the style in a range of colours and designs to compliment every taste and outfit.

Orange Life Floursack Kitchen Towel

I also have my eye on the shop's tea towels, each of which is printed with a different quote or design.

Gray Cotton Beach Bag with Branches

Sweet Nature Designs' cotton beach bags are perfect for toting around
everything you need every day and, of course, to the beach of pool.

Life is Pretty Cool Green Linen Tea Towel

If you would like a chance to win your own Sweet Nature Designs scarf then check back next week for a great giveaway! In the meantime head over to Beth's shop to nab one of her fab items for yourself.

I received a Summer Scarf from Sweet Nature Designs to facilitate this review.

Gossip Girl Season 4 Fashion

I love seeing the shots of the Gossip Girl cast on location in Paris and NYC--I can't wait for the show to come back. I'm hoping it'll be better than it was last season (which was kind of so-so, although it ended with a bang--literally). Regardless of anything else I will always love GG for being eye candy...I die over these outfits!

I adore this voluminous, sexy Jenny Packham, which is vintage Serena.

Serena mixing men's wear with an ultrafeminine Georges Chakra dress.

Blair in Moschino Spring/Summer 2010

Chic in Oscar de la Renta in my fave chartreuse hue.

New girl on the block Clémence Poésy as Eva, wearing Fendi.

And in a gorgeous Spring 2010 Carlos Miele.

Elegance and drama in Oscar de la Renta. Love the pink clutch!
Not sure if the flats were just for filming, but it does seem to be
an emerging trend--flats with gowns and glam dresses.

Gold rush! A Pucci jacket paired with great Tibi
trousers (love the blue!) and Brian Atwood heels.

Sublime in a DvF belted kaftan mini paired with
a to-die-for oversized Nancy Gonzalez bag.

Another newcomer, Katie Cassidy, in Yigal Azrouël
and great Dolce e Gabbana denim animal-print blue
heels and a Carlos Falchi Rush bag.

Amanda Setton (Penelope) in gorgeous sequined Gryphon.

Do you have a favourite GG look so far?

Clutch Play

I have an obsession with clutches. I must own at least twenty in a bunch of different shades and styles. I just think they're so chic, no? And sometimes they totally make an outfit. Observe...
