Day 2 of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Canada Tour began with a swearing in ceremony of new Canadian citizens on July 1--Canada Day. Kate went for the literal and appeared in white and red, as well as a diamond Maple Leaf pin and a fascinator that also looked like the leaf.
The white dress Kate wore is the Nanette from Reiss, familiar because its also the dress that Kate chose from her closet to wear for her official engagement portrait, photographed by Mario Testino.
The pin belongs to Queen Elizabeth (the Queen, then Princess Elizabeth, sported the brooch for the first time during a 1951 trip to Canada), the fascinator is by Sylvia Fletcher at Lock + Co, Kiki McDonough Grace Earrings and the fab fan clutch from Anya Hindmarch. Kate's red pumps? They're the Hobbs Albini Square Cut Court Shoes. You'll recall Pippa was recently seen wearing a red Hobbs dress at Wimbledon.
Happy Canada Day!!!
